Craig Goess and the No. 81 Greenville Toyota of N.C. Eddie Sharp Racing Toyota return to short track racing at Toledo Speedway on Sunday, September 12. Coming off a seventh-place finish on the dirt track at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds, Goess looks to finish the final four races of the season strong.

Last Race: Du Quoin Speedway: Goess finished seventh on Labor Day at that the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. In the second dirt track race of the season, the No. 81 Greenville Toyota of N.C. Toyota remained without incident, and Goess collected his 12th top-10 finish of the season.

Earlier This Season at Toledo: Goess finished 14th in the last ARCA racing Series event on May 23, 2010 at Toledo Speedway. After qualifying sixth, Goess was ready to continue his streak of three consecutive top-five finishes. On lap 98 of 200, the No. 81 was caught up in a wreck with Patrick Sheltra, Tim George Jr., Robb Brent and A.J. Frank. The accident brought out the red flag, but the No. 81 crew was able to strategically plan how to continue to compete despite visible damage. Although two laps down, Goess was able to compete for points and finished 14th in the 100-mile race.

In the Points: Goess dropped to the third position in the ARCA Racing Series championship chase but is only five points behind the leaders. Patrick Sheltra and Tom Hessert are tied for the lead, with Goess in the third position. Frank Kimmel is in the fourth position, 45 points behind Goess.
