Not Going in Blind: Recording his career best NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) finish to date two weeks ago at Nashville, rookie driver Craig Goess plans on continuing his momentum piloting the No. 46 Greenville Toyota Tundra at a familiar track this weekend. Unlike most tracks on the NCWTS tour, Goess will not be seeing Dover for the first time when he climbs into his Tundra for practice on Thursday afternoon. In 2008, Craig competed in the NASCAR Camping World East Series event at the concrete oval, rallying for a 12th place finish after fighting with a mechanical issue for the entirety of the event.

"I really had a great time racing in the Camping World East race a few years ago at Dover, even though our car was bottoming out through the corners all afternoon. It's a great place to race even if your car isn't perfect, and finally we're not going into the track blind because I've raced there before,"Goess commented. "Our learning curve will be much shorter than it has been at Phoenix, Martinsville and some of the other places we've visited this year."

Honorary Crew Member: Several NCWTS teams will host guests from the Dover Air Force Base this weekend at "The Monster Mile" as Honorary Crew Members, including Eddie Sharp Racing and the No. 46 team. Captain Jonathan Brasfield will join the ESR crew on Friday afternoon and watch all 200 laps of action from the pit box.

"It's always nice to give back to these brave individuals that put their lives on the line every day for our country, even if it's something as simple as a handshake or a visit to the track," driver Craig Goess said.

Last Race: Stepping into competition two weeks ago at Nashville Speedway for the first time at the 1.33-mile concrete oval track, rookie Craig Goess leaned on coaching from veteran crew chief Trip Bruce and owner Eddie Sharp to lock into the field with a 24th place qualifying effort. Patiently working his way through the pack, Goess steadily climbed into the top 10 by lap 100, where he remained for the final 50 laps to come home with a ninth place finish; the best of his career.

Craig Goess on Dover International Speedway: "Dover is a fun racetrack even when you don't have your car handling the way you want it to, so you know it's a great place to compete when you can enjoy the racing regardless of your car and whatever else is going on that day. There's a lot of corner speed and banking, which I love. We're bringing the same truck we had at Nashville, where we were able to really fine tune it and hopefully that will put us further ahead. "

Crew Chief Trip Bruce on Dover International Speedway: "I'm pleased with the way our year has gone so far because we're finishing races and Craig is learning a lot. So far we've been to a lot of places that Craig has never even seen before, much less raced on, but with the 2008 NASCAR Camping World East Series race he ran at Dover under his belt, we're all looking forward to possibly having a shorter learning curve this weekend. The goal is to come away from Dover with another solid run that will keep our momentum rolling into Charlotte."

Truck Information: Chassis number 76 will be hitting the track at Dover this weekend with Goess at the controls. Though it is an older truck, the ESR crew refabricated most of the chassis and body in-house in the off season, and Goess drove to his best finish of the year in truck No. 76 at Nashville two weeks ago.
